Today's post will be short and sweet. I wanted to share a moment of gratitude. Many days when we are out doing chores we find ourselves still in shock that we own a farm. We started a farm. From nothing. I hope that feeling never goes away. But we didn't do it alone. God was with us every step of the way.
We took a huge leap of faith, trusting that God would provide all we needed. In case you missed it, click the link to read about our Journey to Tennessee. We knew that God was with us and boy did he bless this farm beyond our expectations. We initially had a 3-5 year timeline to get things ready and prepare the farm. One month after moving here, we took the leap and brought home chickens! A few months later we purchased our first cow!! Then more chickens, another cow, and now we are adding... well you'll just have to wait and see.
In the short time we have been here we have seen God answer many prayers, provide in unimaginable ways, and bring the most amazing people into our lives. One of the greatest by-products of our farm is getting to see how God uses it to grow our faith. We prayed that our farm would be an encouragement to our community. We prayed that we could use our farm to share the good news of God's redemptive love. I guess I didn't realize how much of a blessing this farm would be to us as well.
